Sikaflex®-295 UV - White is a premium exterior sealant and direct glazing adhesive designed for marine applications. Surface preparation

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from grease, oil, dust, and contaminants. Surface treatment depends on substrate type and is crucial for a long-lasting bond. Follow the current Sika Pre-treatment Chart for guidance, and verify adhesion and compatibility with substrate tests before use.

Application guidance

• Processing temperature: 10 °C to 35 °C (ambient and product dependent). Optimal substrate and sealant temperature: 15 °C to 25 °C. Viscosity increases at lower temperatures.
• Condition the adhesive to ambient temperature before use for easy application
• For uniform bonding, apply the adhesive in a triangular bead and finish within the skin time

Tooling, finishing & cleanup

• Tooling and finishing should be completed within the product’s skin time
• Recommended tooling agent: Sika® Tooling Agent N (test compatibility with other finishing agents)
• Uncured Sikaflex®-295 UV can be removed from tools with Sika® Remover-208 or another suitable solvent
• Once cured, the material can only be removed mechanically
• For skin contact, wash hands immediately with Sika® Cleaner-350H cleaning towels or a suitable industrial hand cleaner
