Jabsco flexible impellers are compatible with most makes and models of bronze flexible impeller engine cooling, bilge, transfer, and general purpose pumps. Each impeller undergoes rigorous quality processes to ensure reliable, efficient, and long-lasting performance.

Maintenance and longevity are optimized when you replace impellers on a regular schedule. Replace all impellers at least once every year, or sooner, depending on engine duty. When installed correctly, an impeller may last for several years, but following a preventative maintenance schedule is always recommended.

Easy replacement in just a few steps:

• Remove the end cover screws to access the impeller.
• Remove the impeller using a Jabsco Impeller Removal Tool, or channel lock pliers to grip the hub—do not use screwdrivers as they can damage the pump face or cause injuries in confined spaces.
• Grease the new impeller before installation to ease insertion and protect the impeller during initial prime.
• Replace the gasket and end cover, then resume operation.

Note: Always carry spare impellers on board in case of emergency. The impeller is a vital component of the engine cooling system and should be treated as such.
