How it works

The Boomstrut uses a patented flexing spring mechanism. When you pull the boom down with the kicker, the two flexible coated fiberglass rods flex; as you release, they straighten, lifting and supporting the boom to maintain the desired sail shape. This uplift prevents the boom from dropping onto the boat when the sail is lowered or the topping lift is released, enhancing safety and control.
