This natural Kamairicha green tea is a competition winner, namely of the Nihoncha Award 2021 Tokyos platinum prize. Kamairicha is made from natural Zairai green tea leaves, is cultivated and harvested in mountainous western Shizuoka. This location is ideal for production of natural green tea, where local farmers are dedicated to the art and science of natural agriculture. Kamairicha tea boasts a slight twist to the traditional Kama-ka aroma of Kamairicha. It has an aromatic, deep cream aroma followed by a slightly floral pan-fired green tea taste - due to a slight withering technique used before steaming the leaves.
