The Victron VE.Bus BMS V2 for Victron LiFePO4 Batteries 12-48VDC is a next‑generation Battery Management System designed to interface with and protect one or multiple Victron LiFePO4 (LiFePO4/LFP) Smart batteries in systems that use VE.Bus inverters or inverter/chargers with VE.Bus communication. It continuously monitors cell voltages and temperatures to safeguard your pack and keep performance at its best.

Key capabilities

• Full cell monitoring detects over voltage, under voltage, and temperature extremes to protect each cell in the pack.
• Pre‑alarm signaling provides an early warning of imminent under-voltage conditions, allowing proactive action.
• Load and inverter control automatically disables inverters/loads via VE.Bus when a cell under‑voltage is detected.
• Charge protection automatically disables charging via VE.Bus and other chargers via the Charge Disconnect terminal in the event of over-voltage or extreme temperatures.
• Remote on/off terminals advanced control for convenient system management.
• GX integration can disable VE.Direct and VE.Can solar chargers through a GX device, and keep the GX powered during system shutdown via auxiliary power terminals.
• Multi‑device control supports operation from multiple devices, including the Digital Multi Control, VE.Bus Smart dongle, and GX devices.
• Auxiliary power for GX ensures the GX device remains powered even when the main system is shut down.
