When our mitten shipment was delayed during the pandemic our Founder, Jill Kaufenberg, decided to write a book, called "The Mitten Thief". A adventurous winter children's book to add on to a pair of Chopper Mills as a gift! 

Sisters Molly and Jules love winter and playing in the snow but mittens often seem to disappear. As the girls set out on a snowy outdoor adventure with their friends, they discover what has been happening to those lost mittens. Mystery ensues, and this story will likely change the way your child looks at a snowy day and what is beneath those snow piles! The Mitten Thief is a fantastical tale of winter fun and friendship made for years of reading and re-reading (ideally in a warm lap).
